Shipping & Returns



All orders are shipped within 48 hours Monday thru Friday 8am – 5pm Pacific Standard Time. International orders are subject to customs in the receiving country. We expect international orders to be received around one week from being ordered (Monday to Friday, and excluding national holidays). This timeframe is dependent on international customs in the receiving country.


We use the US Post Office to ship our software.

Shipping Rates

Our shipping and handling rates are charged based on the current US Post Office rates for domestic and international shipping.

For shipping within the United States:

Regular shipping: $10
Express shipping: $25
Express shipping includes an activation code to download and use the software during shipping. This is a popular option for companies who are working on deadline.

For international shipping: $75

International buyers are responsible for any duty taxes and fees for shipping to their location.

Returns & Refunds

How To Return An Item

Your item must be in its original unused condition to be returned, unless there is a manufacturer defect. You must return the item within 15 days of your purchase.

  2. After we approve of your refund request, mail your returned item:

3. Include in your package a signed letter stating the reason for your return and a printed copy of the e-mail from our Sales Department that authorizes your return request.

Return Policies

Software that is returned past 15 days may not receive a full refund. Merchandise that has been altered or damaged will not be accepted for return.

If the USB key is damaged, the user needs to send the damaged key back for a replacement key. Key replacement is free within 6 months of purchase. After 6 months, there is a $100 surcharge.

If the USB key is lost, CivilTech Software will not be held responsible. If the user has business insurance, the insurance may cover the loss of the key.

Restocking Fee

All items are subject to a 5% restocking fee and will be deducted from your refund. We also do not refund the original shipping and handling that you paid on the order. You are responsible for shipping and handling required to send the software to us.
